The regional government of Madeira, the Portugese archipel and birth place of 2008 Eurovision Song Contest representative Vânia Fernandes, granted financial support for the promotional video of her song Senhora Do Mar (Negras Águas) (Lady of the Sea (Black Water)). The Jornal Madeira reported that.
It is no surprise that the promotional music video of Senhora Do Mar (Negras Águas) will be recorded on the island of Madeira. Vânia will also promote her song for Belgrade across Europe, mainly in the Baltics and Scandinavia.
Vânia Fernandes' promotion team is currently finalizing her official website, which will be launched in the upcoming week. The website will feature a remix of the song produced by DJ Rui da Silva and an English version, titled Lady Of The Sea, composer Andrej Babic confirmed.
Fernandes represents Portugal in the second Semi-Final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, on the 22nd of May in Belgrade, Serbia.
