Proveniente de Long Island, Dana é
quase um sucesso na cena club norte-americana, onde ela começou
com uma dj residente em Nova Iorque. Naturalmente a levou a criar
seu próprio disco, 'Object Of My Desire', uma versão
cover do hit do grupo Starpoint, nos anos 80.
Originalmente licenciada à Next Plateau nos EUA dois anos
atrás, 'Object Of My Desire' foi remixada em outubro/2004
pelos djs de Liverpool Mark Simon e Puddy. Em
poucos meses, a música se tornou quase um hino. Quando
Mark Simon abaixou o volume no '051 Club', ele foi surpreendido
com uma multidão ao seu redor. As vendas de seu vinil de
12" refletiram essa preferência: é constantemente
sucesso de vendas, e permaneceu assim até o fim de 2004.

Hailing from Long Island, Dana is already
a huge success on the American club scene where she started off
as a DJ in New York. This led to the demand for her to release
her own record and Dana recorded ‘Object Of My Desire’, a cover
version of the huge 80’s stateside hit by Starpoint.
Originally
licensed from Next Plateau in the USA two years ago ‘Object Of
My Desire’ was remixed last October by Liverpool based DJ/producers
Mark Simon and DJ Puddy. Within a couple of months the song had
become an anthem. When Mark Simon turned down the volume fader
controls at the 051 club he was met with the deafening response
of the crowd singing the song back to him. 12” white label vinyl
sales reflected this fascination; constantly selling out and continually
being re-pressed over the last year.
